According to the oral history of the Plains Cree, the hills to the east of Duval were the last things the Great Spirit built during creation. The name Last Mountain Lake commemorates that tradition.
Remaining consistent with that tradition, the name “CANYON BEACH” was derived. Possibly a slight exaggeration of MOUNTAINS and CANYONS as some may know them, but a true analogy of a unique and stunning area.
Canyon Beach Resort is currently approved for 51 lots, with 22 of them being lakefront, 7 beach front and 22 lake view. Plenty of future development is available on the resorts parcel of land including elevated acreages to the east, providing a spectacular panoramic view of the lake and surrounding shores.
Phase 1 consists of the 17 southern most lots 15-31. Most lakefront and lake view lots boast approximately 84 feet of water front access and at least 250-260 feet of depth. The cul de sac allows for some larger pie shaped lots of up to 1 acre.
Phase 2 consists of 12 beautiful half acre lakefront lots 3-14 with the same water front access and size as the Phase 1 lakefront lots have.
Phase 3 has a total of 22 lake view lots 32-53 with 7 of them being beach front with spectacular panoramic beach and lake views.
